Child: "Why is the sea salty?"

Expert: "The sea is salty because it contains minerals and salts. Rivers carry salt from the land into the sea."

Child: "Why do butterflies have wings?"

Expert: "Butterflies evolved to have wings for flying. Their colorful wings are also used for communication with other butterflies."
