New Gate

Passing through the nostalgic gate, I walk down the shopping street where I once spent my time.

Through the narrow alleys, I emerge onto a street lined with colorful signs and old shops. Thrift stores, record shops, and small eateries line the street.

Scenes I never noticed when I lived here come into view. Has the street changed, or have I?

Music flows from the shops, and the scent of grilled chicken fills the air. The hustle of this shopping street is still very much alive. I wonder what it will be like in 10 or 20 years.

Looking up, I see the sun, obscured by clouds, faintly shining through.
