I start my morning by making coffee. I'm quite particular about it and have tried various brewing methods. I think Nel drip might be the best for taste, but it's a bit of a hassle, so now I use paper filters. The beans are just a cheap blend from the local supermarket.

But since I grind only what I need with my mill, it's still quite delicious. I'd be willing to pay around 800 yen for a cup if I were drinking it at a department store. I have a few expensive cups, but for everyday use, I prefer a heat-resistant clear glass. I like it because it feels just right against my lips and, more importantly, I can see the beautiful black gradient of the coffee.
