Water Depth

The world record for free diving is 253 meters deep. Just thinking about it makes it hard to breathe. I've been training for this challenge for a long time. I feel both fear and anticipation.

Diving into the water is like entering another world. The ocean's silence envelops everything, and my heartbeat echoes like tinnitus.

The deeper I dive, the greater the water pressure and the heavier my body feels. But at the same time, a strange calmness arrives. Cut off from the outside world, I face only myself.

Downwards, further down. The darkness of the deep sea is terrifying and beautiful. I dive deeper, losing my sense of time, becoming no one.

I feel my limits repeatedly. The limits of my body, mind, life, and the world. Yet, I keep diving deeper and deeper, as if there's nowhere else to go.
