Crows have been depicted as symbolic creatures in many cultures and mythologies. In Japan, they are sometimes seen as an omen of bad luck, but also as sacred beings. In the West, they are known as symbols of death and mystery.

Their breeding season is in the spring, laying 3 to 7 eggs at a time. Crows can live around 10 to 15 years in the wild, and even longer in captivity. Their adaptability and intelligence enable them to survive in urban environments, showing various aspects of their coexistence with humans.
