Loophole

A narrow path, inundated by unobstructed sunlight, suddenly distorted my memories.

When was it? The slim trail of earth I climbed on hands and knees. On rainy days, it almost turned to clay, terribly slippery.

Where did that path lead?

The scenery vividly came to mind, yet it was incredibly vague. It felt like it might have been on the way to the station, but I can't recall anything beyond that dirt path.

Where does the path before me lead? Shadows of crows flying from the power lines crossed the glowing trail.
