Cloudy

The weather forecast had predicted sunshine, but the sky was filled with clouds. Initially, the plan was to have lunch outside, but instead, I quickly ate at home.

The clouds outside remained dense, and I felt as if my mood was somehow linked to the overcast sky. However, I reminded myself that I could change my internal weather, and decided to go outside after all.

I bought a café latte from a convenience store and sipped it as I walked down my usual alley. The taste was a bit sweet but not bad. Glancing up, I saw a woman smoking on her balcony against the backdrop of the cloudy sky. The smoke seemed to be absorbed into the clouds.
